Managed IT and Cybersecurity for Organizations That Can't Afford Disruption

Jowers Technology Solutions is a managed IT and managed security provider (MSP/MSSP) headquartered in Aiken, South Carolina, supporting organizations locally and nationwide. We keep systems running, reduce security risk, and make technology predictable.

  • MSP + MSSP

Managed IT and managed security under one accountable provider.

  • Aiken, SC headquarters

A real place of business, not a virtual address.

  • Nationwide delivery

    Remote-first support for multi-site and out-of-state teams.

  • Compliance-aware

Built for CMMC, NIST 800-171, and regulated environments.

Problems we solve

The technology problems that quietly cost you the most

Most organizations don't call an IT provider because of one dramatic failure. They call because the same issues keep returning and nobody owns them.

The same problems keep coming back

Issues get patched over instead of resolved, so your team loses the same hours every month to problems they have already reported.

Downtime interrupts real work

When a server, network, or line-of-business application goes down, productivity stops and the cost lands on operations, not on IT.

Security gaps nobody is watching

Antivirus alone does not detect modern intrusions. Without monitoring and response, a compromise can persist unnoticed.

Internal IT is stretched thin

A capable internal team can still be short on capacity, after-hours coverage, or specialized security expertise.

Compliance pressure is rising

Customers, insurers, and federal contracts increasingly require documented security controls you may not have in place.

Backups that have never been tested

A backup that has not been restored is an assumption. Recovery only counts if it has been proven under realistic conditions.

What we do

Managed IT and cybersecurity are handled by the same team, so security decisions and operational decisions are never made in isolation.

Why organizations choose JTS

Local accountability. National capability.

You get a provider with a real address and a named team, delivering services that are not limited by geography.

  • Security-first by default

Security is part of how systems are designed and managed, not a product added afterward. The same team that runs your IT is accountable for how it is protected.

  • You talk to people who know your environment

Support is delivered by a team familiar with your systems, so you are not re-explaining your setup on every ticket.

  • Proactive management, not ticket-chasing

Monitoring, patching, and maintenance are ongoing work, which reduces the number of problems that ever reach your staff.

  • Built for regulated and contract-driven work

We work with the control frameworks that government contractors and regulated organizations are measured against.

How we work

A deliberate path from first conversation to ongoing management

  1. Step 1

    Discover

We start with a conversation about how your organization operates, what is breaking, and what is at stake when technology fails.

  2. Step 2

    Assess

We review your environment (systems, network, identity, backup, and security posture) and document what we find.

  3. Step 3

    Build the roadmap

You receive a prioritized plan separating urgent risk from planned improvement, with the reasoning behind each item.

  4. Step 4

    Manage and improve

We take on ongoing management and revisit the roadmap as your organization and its requirements change.

Common questions

Questions organizations ask before they engage us

If your question is not answered here, ask it directly. We would rather have the conversation than have you guess.

What is the difference between an MSP and an MSSP?

A managed services provider (MSP) manages your day-to-day IT: systems, networks, support, and maintenance. A managed security services provider (MSSP) focuses on security monitoring, threat detection, and response. Jowers Technology Solutions does both, so security and IT operations are handled by one accountable team rather than split across vendors who each assume the other is covering a gap.

Do you only work with businesses near Aiken and Augusta?

No. Our headquarters is in Aiken, South Carolina, and we provide on-site support across the Aiken and Augusta area. Managed IT and security services are delivered remotely, so we also support organizations elsewhere in the United States, including companies with multiple locations or no local IT staff.

We already have internal IT. Is there still a reason to talk?

Often, yes. Co-managed IT is designed for organizations with capable internal teams that need additional capacity, after-hours coverage, or specialized security and compliance expertise. Your team keeps ownership of the environment and decides which responsibilities to hand off.

Can you help us prepare for CMMC or NIST 800-171?

We help organizations implement and document the security controls these frameworks require, and we manage the technical work on an ongoing basis. Requirements change over time, so scoping starts with your specific contracts and the data you handle. We do not perform official certification assessments; those must be conducted by an authorized third-party assessor.

How does an engagement start?

It starts with a consultation about how your organization runs and what problems you are experiencing. If it makes sense to continue, we assess your environment and provide a prioritized roadmap that separates urgent risk from planned improvement. You see the findings and the reasoning before committing to ongoing management.

What happens if we have a security incident?

Contact us immediately. Incident response focuses on containing the issue, understanding scope, restoring operations, and documenting what happened. If you are dealing with an active incident right now, call rather than email so it can be triaged without delay.

Let's talk about your environment

A consultation is a straightforward conversation about how your organization runs, what is causing problems, and whether we are the right fit. No obligation.
